Plaid Cymru is back by the seaside at Llandudno for its annual conference.
Where else would they wish to spend a few days and part of the weekend, after all, than the Queen of Welsh Resorts?
Rugby fans among the delegates, however, would be wise to ignore the official conference programme which invites them to view the Wales v Australia world cup match from Cardiff on a big screen at 3pm.
The match kicks off at 2pm. (H/T Tiger Tales)
Party communications director and Llanelli AM Helen Mary Jones is blogging from the conference here.
She planned to meet heritage minister Rhodri Glyn Thomas at the entrance to Venue Cymru.
"There was a crowd of us waiting outside.
"It was kind of spoilt by the TV cameras asking us to greet him not once, but twice. Apparently we weren’t whooping and clapping loudly enough, the first time - and Rhodri was a bit embarrassed and went past us all too fast! On the second attempt, some people behind me resorted to screaming."
Welsh MEP Jill Evans was keen to regale delegates with the merits of deputy first minister and Plaid leader Ieuan Wyn Jones ahead of his keynote speech tomorrow.
She said: "In the debate in National Council on which path we as a party would take we heard a lot of speakers making reference to Welsh history - the battles of Owan Glyndwr, Llywelyn ein Llyw Olaf etc.
"I prefer to make more contemporary comparisons.
"In Ieuan Wyn Jones we have a cross between the wise old wizard Albus Dumbledore and the exciting young wizard Harry Potter."
I'm sure Ieuan is delighted.
